In need of a band (to be)

I know this may a bit pointless to some of you but I need to find members for a band to be. Honestly, I don't find it strange but I'm sure many will. You can not rush something like finding the perfect band members. We all have specific requirements. Obviously and most importantly LOCATION. So I'm going to state I live in OHIO and if you do not I suggest you either move, show me you're absolutely F***ing amazing and that I need to move my a** to wherever you are, or go look at another post. Now, the reason I'm saying it will be a band to be is because first of all I need to find my band. If you go to my profile and read my ABOUT ME then you will notice I am looking for instrumentalists as well as vocalist. If I could find a few with the voice and skills of an instrument (preferably guitar,drums,piano basic instruments) that would be perfect. FOCUSING, it will be a band to be also because I'm sure a good portion of the people on this site are young adults, as I am. Therefore, it won't be so easy to hook up and start playing and singing due to, distance, parents, school, work, etc. I personally will be 18 in about 10 months (wooh) and will be very willing to drive anywhere to meet with potential band mates. Obviously I would like some reassurance that I am not wasting my time so I would like a video recording of you singing a cover of a song. I like this lengthy time frame also though because if I am going to be in a band with people I've never met before I would like to learn about them and if I will be able to stand to be around them. No point in making a band that will end up breaking apart. You should also know that I am very determined to succeed. Losing (as cocky as this will sound) is not in my DNA. On a random side note, The Harlequin does not have to be the band name. I simply liked it and figured it wouldn't such a bad name. You can make anything a band name now. So if you are remotely interested contact me. I will respond to you as soon as possible. I am sure it will be a bit strange at first. I also want to throw out there that I understand that you may not have very good recording devices, or perhaps none at all... though that is very unlikely. I mean everything records nowadays, phones, ipods, computes. Which will make the (bare with me) interviewing process difficult. So at first, we shall communicate through this website. As harsh as this may sound I see no reason to trust any of you for awhile and wont give personal information till I am assured you are not a 40 year old pedophile and that you have a sincere interest in what I am proposing. This wont be an easy road. But I'm willing to ride through the bumps and I hope to find talented, quality, (maybe attractive) people. I don't mean to be harsh about the attractive comment but lets face it, when it comes to down to it most of the times having looks in your favor can be what makes you or breaks you. But I wont be picky about how you look.

This is something I've been really serious about and been trying to do since before I knew how to actually play anything. Was extremely close to doing it, had everyone and their instruments all ready, my friend just needed to get the drumsets he said he was gonna get, and we would have had our own band if he hadn't moved away lost most contact. Other than one guy I used to jam with, nobody I know is actually serious about playing music. Yet all 5 people agreed that we'd do it, none actuallty did, and I still talk to everyone other than the planned singer, who sometimes comes around still. Too bad you don't live in CA. lol. It's very rare to find people that are actually serious about this kind of thing, within the same area. Too bad you don't live in CA.
