Hi guys...recently I became pretty passionate about modern blues...was wondering if anyone had some cool names to drop when it comes to blues rock these days...
This is my new little discovery, Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam; this kid is a wonder, check him out and share your thoughts

Pretty Cool!
Have you heard of Derek Trucks ( more Jazz/ Blues - Just won a Grammy this year)
or Gov't Mule ( Rock/Blues - one of Warren Haynes' bands)
or Hill Country Revue or North Mississippi allstars ( both rock/blues or some call it mississippi mud sound)

You should check out Luke Mulhulland! He is only in his early 20's but has an impressive background and is increadibly talented!

Sister Luck and I have the same suggestions!
And Davy Knowles is even more incredible live. He is a guitar god! (And don't neglect Robert Cray, who was BDS's major inspiration)
I have to say, Johnny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd really opened these doors of modern blues, so they deserve a revisitation every so often, at least.

John Bonamassa, have to chech him out no doubt
I'm glad you mentioned Joe Bonamassa....check out his live video from Royal Albert Hall...melting faces!

there's so many great blues and blues-rock artists, past and present. some of my all time favorites are Johnny Winter, Michael Bloomfield and Peter Green. check out some of the original Fleetwood Mac albums and you won't be disappointed.
