I'll check this out when I get a chance. Are you familiar with Eric Whitacre and the Virtual choir? His compositions are among my favorite contemporary classical pieces ever (though I'm not as current on this subject as I used to be). There are several of their videos on youtube-highly recommended.

There is a great new classical CD called Rains of Kauai available on iTunes. It is modern impressionism in the vein of Ravel and Satie. Haunting yet magical.
