Want a chance to get some more exposure? Have a favorite album or artist? I need some album recommendations to review on my blog. What I am looking for are indie or non/mainstream artists that have newer, mostly upbeat albums.
What I am NOT looking for - Dance/DJ/electro house. I want other kinds. A good example of the music (but not an indie artist) is Ellie Goulding. She has some terrific upbeat tracks that aren't necessarily "dance" or "DJ" styles of music.
Thanks so much!
I don't know if it meets your qualifications but Hannah MacDonald has a new album out entitled "Open To Interpretation". It is available on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby.com. Four of the songs have music videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/djdmusic24 The four songs on the album that have music videos are "Misunderstood", "Goodbye", "Magic Pill" and "Akdafu"

Do you actually download the music from iTunes? If there is anyway I can help let me know. Doug MacDonald
maybe yo could review Tokimonsta's Creature Dreams
Lori, No need to reply to me but I thought it might be better if you communicated directly with Derek Doura who is the real genius behind Hannah's music. You can send him a message from his Youtube website http://www.youtube.com/user/djdmusic24
The press release for the CD is at the following website:

I think you should check out Greek electronic composer Sakis Gouzonis. You can download his music for FREE at SakisGouzonis.com
Check out The Batonist on youtube, it's kind of electronica but with some punk and some baroque thrown in. It's pretty unique
