Popdust Names Katy Perry The 2011 Artist Of The Year

Popdust, one of the hottest new online sites for fans of pop music, has unveiled their 2011 Artists Of The Year list. The number one spot for 2011 goes to the incredible Katy Perry, who won Video of The Year on the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year. Perry dominated radio, television and computer screens with her irrepressible string of hits from her second album, Teenage Dream, tying a chart record set by Michael Jackson in 1987 for most number one songs off of a single album. Perry’s world arena tour culminated in sold-out shows at NYC’s Madison Square Garden and LA’s Staples Center, and she hosted the December 10 episode of Saturday Night Live.

The top ten, which began rolling out last week, also includes Rick Ross, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Drake, Lady Gaga and Adele.

I guess I won't need to waste any time on that site-Katy Perry sucks, and most of the others mentioned, too (Adele, and maybe Taylor Swift, would be my exceptions). BTW, You like ZZ Top and Katy Perry? I'll give you points for diversity.
